Domestic Distribution
As a value added service, Power Link Logistic Inc. has the capability to handle the unloading/stripping, palletization, warehousing, and redistribution of your imported cargo once it arrives. Many importers are turning to this efficient method for shipping direct to their customers, and avoiding physical handling at their location. Power Link Logistic Inc. can apply packing lists, bar code labeling, invoice substitution and pick and pack.
Cargo Insurance
Cargo insurance is a critical part of the international transportation process. Most insurance providers do not have access to logistics data and more importantly, do not understand global transportation. This makes it difficult to assess risk and make accurate recommendations. Our goal is to identify the hidden risks in transportation and to structure an insurance program addressing those risks while providing financial security.
Power Link Logistic Inc. offers “all risk” cargo insurance as an adjunct to our services. Carriers typically have only limited coverage and we can offer coverage via numerous underwriters at relatively low rates. “All risk” coverage protects your goods from door to door.
C-TPAT
Power Link Logistic Inc. is a long standing participant in the Customs and Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT). Importers may potentially receive benefits from participation in the program from lower Customs Exam Ratios to faster processing times when exams are called. We believe there are other benefits inherent in participation in C-TPAT beyond those provided by CBP. These include:
